This wine jumps out of the glass with plump and ripe blueberry aromas that evolve into a touch of fresh leather and wildflowers. The palate is forward and full of jammy mixed berry fruits. The wine is easygoing, showing all it has from the beginning to the plush and easy finish.

The 2021 Barbera d'Asti L'Avvocata is a bright, refreshing Barbera to enjoy over the next handful of years. Crushed red/purplish fruit, lavender and rose petal open first, with a kick of bright acids on the finish that keep things lively. The 2021 is flat-out delicious.
