Our Etna Bianco is born from Carricante. Carricante is a white grape variety whose meaning of the name seems to be attributable to the abundant quantities that the "charged" plant is capable of producing. The bunch is of medium size and the berries are very full-bodied. Carricante is generally straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, and produces elegant and classy whites with marked minerality and sapidity. The nose is persistent, with fresh notes of white fruit, aromatic herbs, flint and citrus. Pure and refined, it is a fresh wine on the palate, with high acidity and a pleasant final sapidity. It generally has good structure and longevity, which gives the wine complexity and softness.
