This is a decadent, full-bodied and robustly made wine, with firm tannins and substantial oak in support. Notes of crushed rock, clove and baked plum combine around a core of powerful concentration and lasting intensity. Enjoy from 2028-2035.

Based on a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Ai reveals an opaque purple color to go with a beautiful, incredibly pure bouquet of crème de cassis, violets, spring flowers, and bouquet garni. These carry to a full-bodied, concentrated 2018 with a wonderful sense of freshness, nicely integrated oak, polished and integrated tannins, and a great finish. It's not a blockbuster, yet I love its overall balance, and it shows the purity and classic style of this vintage to a T. It's approachable today, but it will benefit from 2-4 years of bottle age and keep for 15-20.
