The 2020 Cannonau di Sardegna is pleasantly floral with a dusting of autumnal spice, rose petals and dried black cherries lifting from the glass. This is soft and round with juicy acidity and ripe red fruits that slowly saturate. It finishes classically dry with a gentle tug of fine tannin as licorice hints fade. The 2020 aims to please.
